Know how to Help Your Posture

The majority of the population these days walk around with forward head posture, this is usually due to prolonged poor posture in front of the computer, whether at work or at home.  This places enormous strain on the structures around the neck and shoulders and can lead to extreme headaches; dizziness; neck pain; shoulder pain etc.

In order to combat this posture there is a great drill you can do, almost anywhere, I always encourage people to do this in the car as it is usually easy enough when sitting stationary in traffic or at lights.  Feel free to try this throughout your working day too, just at your desk, you don't necessarily need a head rest to push back into, you can just do repetitions of this movement at your desk, on the hour, every hour ideally.
